Brief Bio: Following high school, took a decade off from school working in various entry level jobs to supervisor/management positions in restaurant, retail and manufacturing. Returned to school in 2004. Matriculated in 2007 and spent a year in a MS program for Geographic Information Science. Because of the state of the economy, made a decision to leave school and find something more useful to do. Worked for a year for successful entrepreneurs. Joined father in law in insurance as an independent agent in 2009. Started helping others evaluate their skills and preparedness to launch small side businesses shortly after.

Why LUF? I joined LUF after reading the TMP2 website in 2011. The vision was one thing, the attention to detail in laying out the Foundations step was quite another. The proposed layout of the Community Investment Corporation really hit home for me. In particular, I can appreciate having financial services done in-house as much as possible and I started by researching the requirements to start a credit union. Everything else snowballed.
